DESCRIPTION:Muhammad ibn Ali al-Jawad was the ninth of the Twelve Imams after his father Ali al-Ridha and before his son Ali al-Hadi. He was known as al-Jawād and al-Taqī\, but also called Abu Jaʿfar al-Ṯāni\, and Ibn al-Ridha.
