SUMMARY:Eid al-Adha
DESCRIPTION:– Eid al-Adha– عيد الأضحى‎ \nEid al-Adha is the latter of the two official holidays celebrated within Islam. It honors the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to God’s command. Before Ibrahim could sacrifice his son\, however\, God provided a ram to sacrifice instead. In commemoration of this intervention\, animals are sacrificed ritually. One third of their meat is consumed by the family offering the sacrifice\, while the rest is distributed to the poor and needy. Sweets and gifts are given\, and extended family are typically visited and welcomed. The day is also sometimes called Big Eid or the Greater Eid. \nAdditional informationhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eid_al-Adha \nWikipedia content re-released under CC-BY-SA.https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ \nThis calendar is provided by WebCal.Guru https://www.webcal.guru/. \nContent createdWed\, 01 Apr 2026 16:33:26 +0000 \nSubscription ID–

SUMMARY:Eid al-Ghadeer
DESCRIPTION:The event of Ghadir Khumm refers to a sermon delivered by the Islamic prophet Muhammad at the pond of Khumm\, shortly before his death in 11 AH. According to Shia Islam\, Muhammad announced Ali ibn Abi Talib as his successor in this sermon. SUMMARY:Changing of the Qibla
DESCRIPTION:The qibla is the direction towards the Kaaba in the Sacred Mosque in Mecca\, which is used by Muslims in various religious contexts\, particularly the direction of prayer for the salah. In Islam the Kaaba is believed to be a sacred site built by the prophets Abraham and Ishmael\, and that its use as the qibla was ordained by God in several verses of the Quran revealed to Muhammad in the second Hijri year. Prior to this revelation\, Muhammad and his followers in Medina faced Jerusalem for prayers. Most mosques contain a mihrab that indicates the direction of the qibla. \nAdditional informationhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qibla \nWikipedia content re-released under CC-BY-SA.https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ \nThis calendar is provided by WebCal.Guru https://www.webcal.guru/. \nContent createdWed\, 01 Apr 2026 16:33:26 +0000 \nSubscription ID–

SUMMARY:⚔️ Victory to Ali in the Battle of Nahrawan
DESCRIPTION:The Battle of Nahrawan was fought between the army of Caliph Ali and the rebel group called Kharijites in July 658 CE. They were a group of pious allies of Ali during the First Muslim Civil War. They separated from him following the Battle of Siffin when Ali agreed to settle the dispute with Mu’awiya\, governor of Syria\, through negotiations\, a move labeled by the group as against the Qur’an. After failed attempts to regain their loyalty and because of their rebellious and murderous activities\, Ali confronted the Kharijites near their headquarters by the Nahrawan Canal\, near modern-day Baghdad. Of the 4\,000 rebels\, some 1\,200 were won over with promise of amnesty while majority of the remaining 2\,800 were killed in the ensuing battle. \nAdditional informationhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Nahrawan \nWikipedia content re-released under CC-BY-SA.https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ \nThis calendar is provided by WebCal.Guru https://www.webcal.guru/. \nContent createdWed\, 01 Apr 2026 16:33:26 +0000 \nSubscription ID–

SUMMARY:Martyrdom of Ali ar-Ridha\, 203 AH
DESCRIPTION:Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha\, also spelled Rida or Reza in Persian\, also known as Abu al-Hasan\, was a descendant of the Islamic prophet Muhammad\, and the eighth Imam in Twelver Shia Islam\, after his father Musa al-Kadhim\, and before his son Muhammad al-Jawad. He lived in a period when Abbasid caliphs were facing numerous difficulties\, the most important of which was Shia revolts. The Caliph Al-Ma’mun sought out a remedy for this problem by appointing Al-Ridha as his successor\, through whom he could be involved in worldly affairs. However\, according to the Shia view\, when Al-Ma’mun saw that the Imam gained even more popularity\, he decided to correct his mistake by poisoning him. The Imam was buried at the Imam Reza shrine in a city in Khorasan\, which afterwards gained the name Mashhad\, meaning “the place of martyrdom”. \nAdditional informationhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_al-Ridha \nWikipedia content re-released under CC-BY-SA.https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ \nThis calendar is provided by WebCal.Guru https://www.webcal.guru/. \nContent createdWed\, 01 Apr 2026 16:33:26 +0000 \nSubscription ID–
